It is official: People are freaking out by consuming goods, especially fashion. Escalation on the go. By now, the big fashion concerns change their collections almost every two or three weeks, I mean – what the hell?! And I was wondering for so long, why there is always „Sale“ everywhere.

Fashion fact: „I already have it.“

But the tit-for-tat response comes faster than expected. By this time, trends are reiterating so quickly (sure, if there are new „trends“ every two or three weeks), that we all think by that time: „Oh, how convenient, I already have something like this! I don’t have to shop the trend, it is in my closet, ready to be worn again.“

And THIS is the trigger, which switches our addiction of consumption and turns our buying habits back to the roots.

Bying quality, bying goods from Europe (or from countries near our home country, but for sure we don’t accept „made in China“ anymore) and bying sustainably produced items.

„I quit.“ – protêt á consumer

„Protêt á consumer“ (protesting against our decadent and dismissive way of consuming fashion) – THAT is the new lifestyle trend, who may more and more shopaholics and fashion victims, who are eager to buy (I am not excluding me from this narrative by the way), follow! That is good, because you can just imagine, what is going to happen with the fashion pieces, which are said to be „old“ after just a month and survive the torture of the bargain table, because they weren’t bought by one of us…

Clothes should not be use-and-throw-things!

And by the way ten times less should they cost less than a sandwich! Because that is, how the market is. You get a T-Shirt for 2 Euros or trousers for 5 Euros.
Depending on where you are, a sandwich costs between 2,50 and 7 Euros.
You see, the struggle is real.

Fashion should get back the value, it once had.
