All Black Everything (and my fake/real fur debate)

Fake fur – yay! Real fur – also yay, if sustainably produced!

This winter the trend material of the season is leather – all sorts of leather. Whether it is fake or real leather, suede or patent leather – if you wear something out of leather, you are ‚in‘. Fact.

You know, that I am a fake fur lover, because I don’t want animals to be haunted or treated badly.

I mean this serious. xx

But it seems like i have found designers, Werner Noack and Junior Loringhoven, who are seriously aware of animals‘ conditions and health. You know, that I wouldn’t defend this, if I didn’t believe in it.

But the designers‘ philosophy is it, to give animals back their dignity with redesigning fur over and over again

and not just throwing it away, after somebody wore the fur piece once.

Like Recycling. I like that, because it gives fur a long way to live and makes it more and more valuable.

Is it possible to like animals AND wear a real leather jacket? I think so!

Fighting Double Standards

I also like the fact, that they use just animals, which have to go to the butcher anyway. I hate to write „they have to“, because it had not had to be like that… But I am not a vegetarian, I eat meat, so I am probably not in the right position to feel for the animals, this would be some kind of weird double standards (It is! And lots of us have it – yay, I am not alone with this double standard).

Tough Topic right here.

However, I real wanna come to an point now:

Although I love fake fur, because I feel ethically great, it is still plastic. And this is not very eco-friendly.

Although I like real fur, because it holds you totally warm, animals die. And this is not very animal-friendly.

You see – Yays and Nays on both sides, as always.

Background checking

I think it is important to check the background – what I did! And the leather jacket, I wear in the pictures, is sustainably produced in Turkey, made NOT by children’s hands, made out of lamb leather from a lamb, which had to go to the butcher because of its meat and the fur and leather is a fair trade deal.

There are always advantages and disadvantages for both sides. I checked my jacket’s background and feel good to wear it now. #sustainableconsumer

My conscience is set on „content“.

So let’s focus on the look now 😉

All Black Everything – the Permatrend BLACK

As a clutch I chose my Moschino in Rosé.

It is not a big secret, that

the colour black is an Evergreen, so I styled the REAL leather jacket all over black.

I arranged black leather boots (fake leather), black leather trousers (fake ones again haha) and a silk top with crossed lines on my back to the black leather jacket (real one).

Crossed lines on my back.
All black everything.

Black outfit & fun vibes.

Here’s a short video for you again:

Accessoire in Safari Style

To break with the all black rule, I chose a statement necklace

in Safari style – with black, brown and gold!

How do you like the all black everything look?

What do you think about the real or fake leather debate?

I would love to read your opinion!

xx

Thank you, Werner Noack and Junior Loringhoven, for the support and for your way of trading and producing. #animallover
